Varco Y Series • Casing & Tubing Slip Style Elevators
Varco BJ "Y" series elevators are conventional slip type elevators for handling tubing and small casing. There are 7 types ranging from 20 to 200 ton capacity and covering pipe sizes from 1.050" to 7 5/8" OD. They feature a four slip design which give an optimum contact on the pipe to prevent bottlenecking and gauge damage.These elevators function as companion tools for the Varco BJ tubing spiders. The Varco BJ "YC" type elevator is capable of handling dual tubing strings. All type "Y" series elevators operate with the latch lock combination for safety. The "MYC" and "YC" provide a 7" and the "HYC" a 10 1/2" of insert contact to grip your casing or tubing
